Simple Retail Marketing Software
Rich, Accurate Master Data
Good ecommerce is all about great product information. Add high quality images, videos, product description, specification and attributes, and SKU level information to create a marketing profile for each product. Synch this master file across your operations so only the latest, accurate and approved version is used by the entire retail team, digital and e-commerce partners.
Flexible Use of Product Information
Retail marketing teams produce a range of promotions to sell, and each of them needs a different subset of information. Print catalogues may need a few images, short description and pricing, while online stores may need deeper multilevel product data with information on warranties, returns and shipping. A central master repository allows teams to add and manage the detail as they need them.
Swiftly create marketing promotions
Marketing teams can create digital and print eDMs, catalogues, brochures, flyers etc., for their events and promotion very quickly and with minimal effort. A simplified process comprising assigned templates, drag and drop functionality, mud maps, studio ready briefs and approval pathways reduces touchpoints, errors and revisions, results in quick releases and increases sales.
Streamline Review Process
Creating marketing promotions requires teamwork from a range of skills. Providing editing, proofing and markup tools, collated feedback and change logs speeds up the revision process and minimises touchpoints which is critical for quick turnarounds. Steer the products through a templated approval pathway, so every stakeholder can signoff.
Manage a Varied, Fast Paced Process
Time to market is getting shorter as brands fight for a share of the marketplace. Get good visibility of the project pipeline, spot the red flags early and make data driven decisions. Custom reporting with graphic and visual tools enable you to keep an eye on important data. Watch the process from vendor onboarding to POS.
Features
Product Library – Search & Find
Quickly find products by searching on range of meta data including product name, brand, SKU / APN / EAN, category, and core range. The QuickView product list saves time by allowing identification of a product without having to access the product record.
Product Groups
We understand that a product may come in different colours and sizes. The Retail Path PIM allows creation of common information for a group of products such as colours and sizes. Similarly, images can be collated for the group of products.
Product History
When a product is used in a promotion Retail Path records the sale date and sale prices. This audit trail gives greater transparency with the history of product usage across promotions recorded and easily accessed.
Promotion Setup
Marketing can kickstart the process by creating the activity, setting key dates and allocating pages to merchandise categories, for instance microwaves and blenders in small appliances. Current promotions in progress can be easily located and accessed via a list.
Template Library
Some retail activities, such as catalogues and eDMs are based on templates. The templates for the activity can be easily selected for each catalogue page or in the case of an eDM, a preferred template can be chosen and saved.
Placing Products – Drags & Drop
Buyers simply drag & drop products to place it on the template. Once products are placed the buyer can build a PDF preview of their page. This is a more realistic preview of their page than a traditional “mud map”.
Studio Ready Brief
The design studio receives the catalogue or eDM brief in an InDesign format with all of the product images, pricing, copy and callouts. They can use this as a starting point or transfer it to their InDesign master templates. We work closely with the design team to ensure that the correct fonts & styles are applied to the studio brief.
Online Review with Markup Tools
Once the Design Studio has converted the basic brief into a polished consumer-friendly catalogue, the PDFs can be uploaded to Retail Path for stakeholder review. Reviewers are notified by email and can markup creative changes with a full set of markup tools.
Change Logs
The design team can receive feedback in two integrated ways. Product copy and price changes are logged with a checkbox for the designer to select once they have completed the change. This checklist helps them ensure that they have addressed all changes.
