Practice Lead

Simple is searching for a Practice Lead with a proven track record in leading a team to implement end-to-end cloud software solutions. As the Practice Lead, you will be responsible for the onboarding of new Simple customers and the delivery of ongoing services throughout the customer’s lifecycle, both direct and through our partner network program.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

  • Lead delivery management and consulting teams to ensure the changing business and customer needs are consistently met and exceeded
  • Set clear objectives aligned to the business strategy and provide regular feedback to your team on how they are tracking against these
  • Support team growth through the identification and execution of individual development plans
  • Create and manage resource framework that ensures Simple have the right capabilities as we continue to grow
  • Establish solid working relationship and understanding with the partner network that provides them with the support, visibility, and expectations of delivery

Delivery & Project Management

Pre-Sale:

  • Identification of customer business requirements and solution delivery options following Simple’s solution process: (1) Strategy & Objectives, (2) Scope, (3) Design, (4) Build & Testing, (5) Delivery (6) Implementation
  • Coordinate Simple team members (direct & indirect), collaborate and deliver additional product solution value within the sales cycle
  • Design and deliver winning solutions aligned to Simple’s product roadmap and vision to generate revenue opportunities and enable customers to realise their business goals and objectives
  • Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of the Simple platform and its supporting services to prospective customers
  • Excel at demonstrating the Simple platform and it’s capability during the pre-sales phase and develops a deep understanding of the Simple platform and its user and technical capabilities

Implementation:

  • Oversee and lead the team to manage each implementation and solution engagement to a project plan, coordinating resources throughout the end-to-end delivery lifecycle
  • Coordinate and manage discovery sessions during implementation to capture the customer’s marketing business requirements so this can be refined and translated into Simple’s platform
  • Manage and deliver against allocated project budgets and report on this on a regular cadence both internally within Simple and to the customer
  • Clear identify risks and create appropriate mitigation plans and strategies

Post Sale:

  • Review & report on customer and project satisfaction with a measurable action plan
  • implemented based on findings
  • Effective customer handover to Customer Success operation with a clear articulation of customer objectives and implementation overview

Partner Network Management & Support

  • Management of partner enablement program that educates and supports a network of select partners accredited to delivery Simple solutions
  • Establish and manage quality assurance program that assesses all delivery projects and creates action/corrective plan based on findings
  • Creation of framework that provides delivery capability through recruitment or identification and qualification of new partners

Other

  • Review and/or create best practice processes and methodologies across full delivery teams that drive customer, partner, and employee satisfaction
  • Create team strategy aligned with achieving business objectives that provide the team with clarity, direction and clear understanding of the role they play
  • Close working relationship with the sales team to understand forecast pipeline
  • Proactively support the Customer Success team and the relationship across all Simple customers
  • Establish quality assurance program for direct and partner channels
  • Performing gap analysis to identify opportunities for the existing solution and process improvement of the workflow

Skills and experience:

  • 10 years professional experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager
  • Deep understanding of marketing operations, digital marketing and relevant marketing applications/technology
  • Experience in leading requirements gathering workshop and/or digital transformation management
  • Microsoft experience, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics desirable
  • Business/Marketing University degree and/or MBA
  • Proficient in Agile delivery and other Project Management methodologies, i.e. Prince2, PMP etc
  • Team leadership, development, recruitment, coaching and development experience.
  • Strong Customer Engagement skills
  • Multi-functional team leadership skills
  • Well developed skills in preparation and presentation of substantial reports and communications
  • Well developed interpersonal skills; liaising, consulting and negotiating will all Customer groups, including C-level executives
  • Well developed understanding of Change Management processes and impact of change on individuals and working groups in a commercially driven environment
  • Understanding of SaaS, Cloud, MRM, MarTech
  • High level analytical, conceptual and complex problem-solving skills
  • Openness to travel (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and International)
  • Specific experience in the Marketing Resource Management solution space and with associated technology solutions would be advantageous
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement and management expertise
  • Comprehensive and successful experience in pre-sales activity, including tender
  • responses, proof of concept and presentations
  • Demonstrated experience leading Experience Design delivery throughout the life cycle of a project
